About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Lanai City, Lanai City Bar & Grill offers an exceptional American dining experience infused with local Hawaiian flavors and a welcoming island vibe. This charming establishment effortlessly blends the warmth of a neighborhood bar, the casual comfort of a coffee shop, and the refined touch of a wine bar—making it a go-to destination for breakfast, lunch, and evening gatherings alike.

The menu showcases a vibrant mix of dishes that celebrate fresh, local ingredients and bold, satisfying flavors. Start your day with their acclaimed Breakfast Burrito or indulge in the uniquely delicious Pig Candy, a finger-licking treat that perfectly balances smoky and sweet notes. Sweet tooths will find paradise in the fluffy Ube Pancakes, which come decadently drenched in flavor without the need for extra syrup. The lovingly crafted lcbg Loco Moco provides a rich, comforting dish that speaks to traditional island roots.

Lunch offerings are just as enticing, featuring hearty options like the Classic Burger, made with 7 ounces of house-ground beef, white cheddar, and a special sauce that elevates every bite, and the Smoked Brisket Dip, boasting melt-in-your-mouth kiawe wood-smoked prime brisket paired with horseradish cream and au jus for dipping. For something lighter yet packed with flavor, the Ahi Tuna Burger and Baja Mahi Taco showcase the bounty of Hawaii’s fresh seafood.

Lanai City Bar & Grill doesn’t stop at savory dishes. Their dessert offerings like the creamy Kona Coffee Tiramisu and the delightfully crisp Churro with Vanilla Ice Cream provide a sweet finale that leaves a lasting impression.

The drink menu is equally vibrant, featuring handcrafted cocktails such as the classic Old Fashioned and the refreshingly zesty Moscow Mule, alongside non-alcoholic delights like the tropical Frozen Piña Colada and house-made Ginger Beer. Their commitment to quality is evident in every sip.

What truly sets Lanai City Bar & Grill apart is the atmosphere. Guests frequently mention the warm and attentive service that makes them feel right at home from the moment they walk in. Live music fills the space, creating an inviting, lively backdrop that enhances every dining experience without overpowering conversation. The intimate setting encourages connection—whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a casual lunch, or enjoying a few drinks with friends after a morning on the ferry.

Visitors rave about the consistency and care in every dish. Steffen Wade calls it “the best food I had on this trip to Hawaii,” captivated by the catch-of-the-day Opah with its “incredible lemon citrus butter, capers, pickled onions.” Arielle Rabier praises the breakfast, highlighting the decadence of the Loco Moco and the memorable Pig Candy, while Chandler Vicars emphasizes the welcoming ambiance and “5 stars every time” experience, recommending the Parker Rolls and fresh oysters. The buzz surrounding Taco Tuesday, praised by Dustin Crawford, further underscores the lively community vibe and exceptional value the grill brings to Lanai’s dining scene.

The best food I had on this trip to Hawaii. Make reservations it books out. They were fully booked but helped us out with a table early anyways, very appreciated! Catch of the day was Opah, incredible lemon citrus butter, capers, pickled onions it was incredible. For dessert the Ube Custard parfait is a must. Incredible service, amazing food and they had live music. It's small, so book ahead, it's very worth it!

5 stars every time. My husband and I have eaten at Lanai City bar and grill 5 times now and it just gets better every time. The Parker rolls are a must to start. The oysters and beet salad were also delicious. Highly recommend the smash burger. Justin and Ryan were both great. Such a warm place. The live music is a huge plus!

We went to "Taco Tuesday" and it was amazing! The happy hour drinks specials were great and the pupus menu was amazing! They also had live music that was perfect. When we go back to Lana'i we will definitely go here for dinner again!

The *BEST* Breakfast on Lāna'i! The Pig Candy is best eaten with your fingers. Mochi Pancake is so delicious, no coconut syrup needed! French Toast is perfect. Loco Moco was decadent. Breakfast Burrito and array of salsas/sauces is very satisfying. Not pictured is the Breakfast Sandwich with venison sausage patty, which was inhaled before I could snap a pic! Don't skip out on the fresh juice blends -- the orange is bliss. Mahalo to Christian and the crew at LCBG for bringing bomb breakfast to the island! (Served Tuesday - Saturday @ 7-11am)

Came in on the 6:30am Ferry from Maui and this was our first stop for breakfast. It was sooo flipping good and filling. Great staff and great food! I got the Classic Breafast with the deer sausage which was amazing and the Guava jam was good as well. Our table split the ube pancakes and OMG I recommend to order those for any pancake lover!!! Please come here and try their food!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Everything was good but something felt off. Being from Oahu, I expected a better custom service experience. The best I can describe it, It felt a bit cold. On the positive side, the food both for dinner and breakfast was great and the pricing is reasonable. And there's live music on most evenings.

Wow, great food, atmosphere, and service. All our dishes were cooked and presented perfectly. Awesome happy hour specials also from 4-530pm. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, this has to be the #1 dinner spot in the city.

Great beer and drink selection, live music, indoor seating and outdoor seating with heat. Scampi is awesome, salads are big enough for 3 people
